Mesa Arts Festival

Last weekend, Dec. 12 & 13, we showed at the Mesa Arts Center Art and Music Festival. The weather did not cooperate very well and we ran the gamit weatherwise throughout the two days--high wind, cold (for us anyway), cloudy, rain. The turnout was pretty good on Saturday, but Sunday proved to be too cold and rainy for people to wander around. But the three of us had fun together laughing and meeting many new people who stopped by.

Here we are showing the article on Twisted Sisters' Designs as published in the November and December issues of Phoenix Magazine. We were very pleased about this because many more people now know about us and our wonderful, one-of-a-kind creations.

A week of learning

Last week we took several different workshops at Art Unraveled and learned so much-especially about soldering. Do you have any idea how many different ways there are to solder, depending on materials and flux and soldering instruments??? It's mind-boggling!

And we so enjoyed showing off our different mediums at 2nd Friday Dog Days of Summer. The dogs dragged their owners into the gallery so they could have a treat and a drink and then lay on our cool floor while their owners browsed. We enjoyed sharing our techniques and found out there are many people interested in taking classes. It was great. And we DO offer classes in chainmaille, precious metal clay, and dichroic glass. Let us know if you're interested.

It is Friday and the Twisted Sisters' are definitely looking forward to next week's Art Unraveled workshop in Phoenix. It is a time to renew old friendships, create and design new pieces and learn new techiques. Tune in each day beginning Tuesday to see what we have accomplished!
Until then.....have a great weekend.
